Three weeks ago, Claire was robbed of all her store’s stock for the second time in 8 months. Yet here she is at “Claire’s Boutique” once again with soft violet colors and new lighting. It is amazing to see the resilient spirit of this woman so hard hit within the span of one year.
Claire’s daugher, Rebekah, and I took two semesters of Arabic at Al Quds University. Rebekah learned very quickly since she knows Hebrew. This fascinating family arrived by land from England in 1991 They moved here for the views so that father George Kosinski could paint. Claire still carries the stock of his cards, paintings and books which hold the softest most beautiful views of Jerusalem, Damascus, Cairo and Wadi Rom (Jordan). I stock up, but nearly not enough.
