That’s right. The swim a phobics don’t want to be within an inch of missing a ride to the lagoon today. Yesterday friday, the ride left without us and we had a scorching afternoon of walking Chi Much and to Paccen only to walk back to Tres Reyes. This time the jeep can’t leave without us, we will literally be on the road.

The Maya parenting method is very curious. Since Thursday when the village learned that I was leaving on Monday,
some kids, that were being kept away from English and swimming by their parents, are coming back. Some kids are showing up for the first time because the parents learned I was teaching swimming and want their kids to learn before I leave, and there are even parents wanting to come and join the swimming.
